Another update.  I called my friend's vet, and somebody finally came to see my kitty without assuming he has a brain tumour.  He gave him an IV. Gave him a bit of a sedative and took out a few really big chunks of dry-combed food from... well... you know. He also gave me antibiotics.  So far...
