Well, guess who decided to come back tonight, Just about 30 mins ago I saw him on the porch, I opened the door and just sat down and let him come in onhis own. Him and Mugs had a growling and hissing match for a bit but all seems well now... checked him for tics and war wounds but found none...

I do believe he was a wild cat when he was a baby though. You can just tell. Its usually late at night, im going to...

I've had Otis for about 3 years now maybe 4, I let him and my other cat out on the deck , which is railed off. They usually stay inside of it. But lately Otis started going out into the woods, I would call him and he would come running back in. Well, about 2 weeks ago he went out and never came...

    cat pee on new couch

Call the company that makes the couch and see of they will replace the foam, thats where the odor is sitting, and it will crystalize on the underside of the fabric if you dont take it off and clean both sides. Foam is cheap you can take the old piece to a fabric store and have them cut/order you...

Someone please explain this to me.

It is much better now, they are starting to get along, theres still some skuffles now and again, but at least I can let the 2 of them wander the house without thinking one will end up missing an ear. The hissing and growling has all but stopped. And Otis, the smaller resident cat, still backs up...

    I want my cat back!!

I agree with all of the answers, Mugs and otis are finally able to be in the same room and not fight, Otis is eating again and touring the house like he always has. I feed them in seperate rooms, but at the same time so they both get full at once and dont want the others food. They still wrestle...

    Introducing myself!

Sounds like hes a little undone from being in a new place. You might have to leave him be for a while and let him approach you when hes ready. As far as the infection, it was an almost infection? or full blown? You may just be allergic to his saliva. Hes up to date on his shots? Is he crazy...

    New Cat Owner (Behaviour Help!)

Sounds like the litter box may be to small for him to move around and not step back in what he just did. You said sand, is he going outside? or did you put sand in it? Sorry, I just cant tell from your post. He may have been nervous causing him to fart a ton, are you feeding him kitten food? I...
