Yes, her father and I went many rounds before we decided to split...we were never violent but, unfortunately, she was witness to a few verbal fights...it's better now but, she does seem to carry a lot of anger...BTW...keeping cats and her seperated is working good...I let them out for a couple...
Well, what we are going to do is keep the cats in our bedroom wich also has a bathroom connected and only let them out when she is in bed. We will do this untill we find out what the problem may be. We are a blended family and her dad is kind of an idiot...maybe there is some anger coming from...

One reason I ask about this...yesterday, I had my ceiling fan on in the bedroom and Kitty got on my bed , rolled over on his back, spread his back legs open, and went to sleep, lol...wondered if maybe he was hot, poor thing.Thanks for the info, everybody!

Oh yes...Kitty is very very tolerant of having his claws trimmed. His previous owner had been trimming them since he was small. Need to get Claw started on this so as he gets older, he is equally as tolerant. I'm so glad I found this site! hee hee
My Kitty was doing the same thing with Claw, the kitten. I posted on here and have been assured it is normal behavior. My worry was that Claw is so much smaller than Kitty but, I never see bite marks or scratch marks. I am assuming that Kitty is indeed just letting Claw know who was here first...
