Thanks The vet is going to take x-rays a week from Wednesday to see if it can come out yet or not. The cage is four feet by three feet, so it's pretty good size for a little kitten.I will try the TV and stuffed animal thing....when we first got her before the surgery, she would sleep on me...

I think that saying that a cat shouldn't be taken in if you don't have the money is pretty dumb. My whole thought is that no matter what the home situation is, I think that it is better for the cat to have an owner that gives it love and food all of the time than for it to be trying to survive...

Why don't you try and call a local emergency vet and see if they can tell you what to do until you can take him to your regular vet.

Hi, If you have gone to that vet for awhile they might, and you tell them your situation. I have never had to ask my vet to do that, but just from the way he acts, and a lot of the time, he doesn't even charge me if it's for something little. Why don't you give it a try....doesn't ever hurt to ask

thanks so much, that is what I have thought....I asked a friend that works with the humane society who she would reccommend and she told me one, so I am going to try them.

see...thats how i kind of felt, and it didn't help any that when she came home, we couldn't get her to eat for 2 days, it could have been the surgery, but who knows.
