I've had many cats with abScesses.FIRST GET THE DUCT TAPE OFF THE PAWS! Second, boil some water, make a homemade saline solution (salt and baking soda, recipes online) use a large syringe to wash it out daily. Gently pat dry.Use the antibiotics as prescribed.It will clear up eventually. GOOD LUCK!

Do you have any plants in the house that it may have eaten? I know that peace lily's can get a cat quite sick. Any cleaner or bleach it may have licked? Does it go outside? Antifreeze,rat poison,flea treatment?.Drooling to me sounds like some kind of toxicity. Hope he gets better.

I don't know how to edit.. I just wanted to also say that he wasn't losing his bladder, we figured out the  next day that he was dribbling because of the way he was scooting.His "parts" were being stimulated by the friction of the floor.
