I know there are low cost clinics for spay/neuter but I don’t think the kittens are old enough yet. I need to get them to the vet to be checked out first. I don’t think they’re ready. I’m not sure that they’re completely weaned.
I posted a gofundme link in the SOS forum for a campaign for feral cats.
I am still in the process of trying to trap them, which I need to do ASAP.
I think the best plan is a drop trap to at least get all of the kittens.
However, I' have never used one and I don't want to use individual traps...
The vets here are not helpful or flexible at all. I asked a vet that i’d been using for over 16 years to help out and I was refused. I don’t think he’ll accommodate any special requests. The offices are too busy to be bothered with anything and they really don’t care about helping feral cats.
I really need help to rescue 4-5 feral kittens, have them vet checked, vaccinated, spayed/neutered and care for them until I can get them adopted. I also need to have 2-3 adults fixed. As some of you know, I did this last year at my expense but I have no income and it woukd be very difficult for...
He's on a canned rx diet now. I just trying to figure out exactly what makes it a "urinary health" food. What are the things that are in there and aren't in there and in what quantities?
My female has unconfirmed IBD or food allergies. There is one brand of canned food she can tolerate. I tried switching and she had an episode of vomiting. This has happened in before with other foods I’ve tried. She does also tolerate cooked chicken and egg I wanted to get all of my cats off...
i’m considering switching my cats, at least 2 of them, to homemade and/or raw food. However, one of them had an issue with cystitis and is now on rx food, which is inconvenient, overpriced and I’m not thrilled with the ingredients. Plus, none of my cats ever seem satisfied on canned food and...
Right now, I have 3 cats, eating 3 different types of food. It's not only too expensive but I'm not completely satisfied with any of them. Plus, my cats are always hungry.
My female has stomach issues. She only seems to tolerate chicken. The young one is on a prescription diet, which I really...
Around this time last year, I was dealing feral cats and kittens, I managed to catch 4, I kept one and the other three ended up at a rescue.
I knew there were more but I last night I was shocked to see kittens again, along with another 3-4 adults.
I don't know what to do because as I...
My cats are not underfed not are they losing weight. However, they are ALWAYS hungry. I can no longer sit at the table and eat, without all of them pawing at my plate. I put them on the floor and they jump right back up.
How do I stop this behavior?
