Hi All
Gizmo was really off this morning - producing a lot of saliva, not eating, a bit lethargic. Took him to the vet and he also had a temperature. Vet gave him some antibiotics, anti-inflammatory and vitamins and he is much better now. He's eating and has a bit more energy, and his eyes have...
No, no pain medication at all. Which I think is why she's so subdued, and I would have thought she'd be on something, but when I asked they said she didn't need any.
It's just boiled chicken at the moment, I was going to start her back on her food tonight anyway. The vet wanted to give us some...
Hi All
Speedy went in to be spayed on Tuesday, and for the most part she's doing okay. She's still very sleepy and very needy and cuddly, but the wound looks perfectly fine and she is eating and drinking.
My only worry is that she threw up about an hour ago. She is still on very bland food...
Have you thought about getting him a friend to play with? He's probably lonely and want's companionship. I know that was the problem with my little boy, and since we got him a playmate they mostly just entertain one another (only downside was I lost a lot of my cuddle time lol).
Hi All
So little bit (Speedy) is acting very much like she is in heat. She won't shut up, she rubs her bum on things, and my poor (thankfully neutered) 7 month male keeps pinning her to the ground and trying to mount her. phoned the vets as she is only 4 1/2 months (though this is an estimate...
Hi All
Looking for advice on some good quality wet food. My Gizmo is probably the most picky cat in the world, and the food that he does like gives him a very runny, stinky and (more recently) bloody stool. He was on grau wet for a while, which he hated and refused to eat without dry mixed in...
My little Gizmo had be admitted in to the animal hospital 2 weeks ago due to potential lily poisoning (although we were sure he hadn't actually eaten any, better to be safe then sorry).
He's fine, kidney's came back completely fine, and 2 days ago we had to take him in for his 1 week bloods...
As some of you may know my little girl smoak was put down on Wednesday, leaving her 6 month brother behind.
Hes already passed the stage where he searches for her and cries, he seems to be at the depressed acceptance stage. He is eating and playing, but not as much as before, and he has gone...
My 6 month old boy just lost his sister and he is very depressed by it. He keeps crying and searching for her. But he will move on and so will yours. I do think cats should be in pairs though if that's what they are used to
