Help...Transition: TUBE FEEDING to BOTTLE FEEDING

the breed really has nothing to do with it and does not make a difference. A kitten is a kitten. I was just hoping someone here would have some special "trick" (for lack of a better word) to get a kitten to drink from a bottle. He is much to small to be putting onto wet food at this point...

Help...Transition: TUBE FEEDING to BOTTLE FEEDING

I need some help from the breeders that have tube fed kittens and then got them to drink from a bottle. I have a very stubborn kitten that will not take a bottle . . . A bit of history: I have a litter of 4 that is now 4wks old. When they were approx 2 1/2 wks, my queen got sick and could not...

    Ragdoll or Himalyan?

grooming has a LOT to do with the decision. Himalayans require a lot of grooming to keep them from getting knotted. I do not know a lot about the Ragdolls, but from what I hear, they require a lot less grooming. As far as personality, I breed Persians/Himalayans and my cats/kittens are great...

Breeders..how long do you wait for a buyer??

I totally agree that I need to add something of that nature in the contract. I just have never ran across a sitution like this before so I have never even though about adding something like that until now. All other buyers are anxious to get their kittens.

Breeders..how long do you wait for a buyer??

I have a question for fellow breeders . . . Here is the situation: I have a kitten who I received a deposit on. Weeks go by with no communication from the person who left the deposit. Time come that the kitten is ready to leave and I still can not get ahold of her. I leave phone messages and...

Breeders Allowing Visitors in Their Home

I do not let visitors/potential buyers see my whole house, nor my whole cattery (which is part of my house). I usually bring the kittens into my living room and let them see them there. The kittens tend to wonder between the hallway, living room and kitchen, which I do allow the potential buyers...

    Eep! She's too young!

Kittens can get spayed/neutered younger then 6 months. All my kittens once they are sold and before they leave to their new home, are fixed at 4 months old. There are quite a few vets that will do it at 4 months old also. Is it a young inexperienced vet?? Valerie
