I have not been here in awhile. My male kittens are a year old now and the Siamese mix is constantly talking.
I need to know if there is anything that can be done to help him not talk so much night and day, or if this is just somethng we have to learn to live with.
He is a mix, was born in...
I am either smiling or laughing all day, it seems, with two eight-month old kittens, males, and a female adult cat. The brothers do this thing that doesn't cease to amuse me: they mirror each other. They can be sitting on opposite ends of the sofa and they lay in the exact same position! Or else...
Actually, it's my seven year old, who's never been destructive in her life, who recently learned how to claw her way through the screens to get outside. I was away for a month and left her with the kittens and my roomie. The roomie decided to take a second job, instead of doing what I'd charged...
Oh my little baby is starting to grow up. I am just now starting to notice this new behavior in Peeka! This morning he was attacking my foot. He used to attack it under the covers and it was cute and now this morning he was attacking my leg like it was another creature....not so cute...
I guess...
I would love to have a very talkative bengal. I love to listen to my part-Siamese kitten talk--he's incredibly talkative and there is nobody here but me for him to bother. I could listen to him yowl all day. I talk back to him, however.
He is actually learning to say words for me. He can...
They've been neutered since before they were even one pound. Hopefully nothing went wrong way back then. These guys were little ferals when I got them and yet they are very affectionate. Peeka, the part-Siamese, is a bit of a biter anyway, he likes me to use my fingers to "bite" him--and it took...
I wouldn't worry about it unless it was done in a hostile manner, with ears pinned back, etc. I am convinced cats bite to communicate and although it's not something to encourage, I no longer worry too much about it.
My two kittens are about eight months old now, brothers. Today, one escaped outside for awhile but I got him in without incident. Then I noticed the other biting him on the back of the neck. Now, he was biting him on the back of the neck earlier too so I don't think it was because he was angry...
Speaking of strange noises, Peeka, a Siamese mix kitten, talks in his sleep. You can hear him here on this dark video clip. The first time he did this in bed with me just freaked me out to no end. I had no idea he was buried under some pillows--I couldn't imagine what this noise is. Check it...
I wouldn't know but I have two brothers who are kittens, and one is a Siamese mix--yep, two fathers. The Siamese, Peeka, shows no inclination to go outside. In fact, Boo, his brother, who is not Siamese, just ran outside today and I had to go fetch him--the door was left open by my roommate...
Yes, Pixel will come back to feed later from all three bowls, but I think I will start feeding her alone, in addition to with the kittens, her wet food, because as it is now, there must be some stress involved, although she seems fine about it...it's kind of interesting to me....living with...
Hi. I am wondering how it is that my seven month old kitten is pushing my seven YEAR old cat, Pixel, around during feeding time. Each of my three felines, the two male kittens and my female Pixel, have unique eating habits, but they all eat at the same time and this has been helping them...
