    The big "how many" question!

just for you, they are low quality but soon I'll have new ones with good quality... right now she's going into the 8th week of the pregnancy but these pictures are from the 5th week...

    are you absolutly positive?

My zoe is now in the beginning of the 8th week of her pregnancy. She's been "Heated" almost during the entire 5-7 weeks of the pregnancy. At one time she got paint on her back and I took a wet towel to clean her up and she totally started kicking her back legs which is a definite heat behavior...

    Russian Blue?

I'm an RB breeder, this is not an RB and as it was explained, many cats are confused for an RB but RBs have some qualities (like their eyes for example) that can't be missed.

When do cats start to "show"?

Regardless of the amount of kittens, the cat should start to "show" as of the 6 weeks into the pregnancy. This is the stage where the babies are in "Alpha stage" which means they are 90% complete and start to grow...

    Putting Queen With Stud

As mentioned before, nature is a smart creature that has it's way of bringing stuff into the surface. What I'm trying to say is, a cat in heat who's ready to go will breed no matter where she is.. This is the basic reason why females are brought to males and not the other way around since males...

    The big "how many" question!

My zoe is 6 weeks into her pregnancy. It is now officially noticeable that she's pregnant, her belly is not too big but it shows. As you all know she's a Russian blue and this is her first pregnancy. I find myself constantly occupied with the "how many" question and so I wanted to ask you...

more questions about my pregnant cat

It's great that you are worrying about this subject. When Zoe was only 2 weeks pregnant I found myself building her a wooden white box in good size and placing in a good dark spot, just like where they usually like to hide and lurk. Thing is that a pregnant cat won't show interest in any...

    Pregnant cat with fleas

Zoe got fleas too when she was about 2 weeks pregnant and I used frontline on her and on Kenzo and they don't have fleas anymore. You have to make sure you get rid of the fleas before birth. It's better off this way.

    momma cat weird behaviour

There's no maybe in the beginning of my answer cause what you're describing is a very known behavior.. what is true is that it's weird that you're cat is doing it WHILE been a mother.. The weird miewos and carrying around toys in her mouth is a known "Mama Game" played by spayed females who...

    Foundation Cat?

If I'm not mistaken Foundation Cat will be the first cat that the breeder adopted for the cattery. If this was a foundation litter then it means this was the first litter born in the cattery. Feel free to correct me..

How to tell if my cats pregnant?

First of all, from about 2-3 weeks MAX you should see a major change in nipples. Actually a cat in heat also has PINK nipples, but when it comes to pregnancies, nipples not only get pink, they also become bigger and point out. Zoe (my Russian Blue) is now in the end of her 4th week, her...

My Female Cat Has Serious Issues

You should really try going back to basics. These ARE cats and even though your hopes are for them to mate you should try setting smaller targets for them. Separate the two from the rest of you cats (if there are any) and give them a fixing experience with each other. Try finding a game fun...
