    Kitten not eating, not active

We just got back from seeing another vet. Decided the best course of action was to put her down after talking to the vet. She had no parasites. Couldn't give an answer why Sioux was so uninterested in eating, she did an ultrasound and stated she may have FIP - she did an ultrasound and...

Getting harder to open her mouth to feed, and it seems to be coming out of her as quickly as it goes in, poop a bit more liquid too.

    Kitten not eating, not active

Alternating 5ml kmr and 5ml pedialyte with a tiny bit of booster gel, about every 30/40mins. Having to hold her up to pee, and she seems to have lost control of her bowels as her poo is seeping out slowly as she rests. :( I'm wiping it off her butt as it comes, it is yellow and pasty rather than...

Thanks guys she is still going, just... No more vomit so far. We gave her a little sugar water after she'd had a little time to recover after vomiting, her butt was a bit leaky with diarrhea. Not even enough energy to stand. fed her some kmr at 3 with lots of burping time. I think we either have...

Thanks for the ideas! We and Sioux appreciate it. We got the powdered PetAg kmr, she just had her first feeding with that and then got really sleepy. We'll give this a go before trying the goat milk. Tried a slightly wider opening on the nipple, a little better. She did have some diarrhea...

Thanks, we'll try switching to one of those brands. We did try bottle feeding but she resisted and bit the end of the nipple off very quickly. Now using a harder, smaller, longer nipple to avoid that. She bites down on it (struggling) but we still have to squeeze it to make it drip

    Kitten not eating, not active

Hi We rescued a small kitten that we think is about 5-6 weeks old, our vet thinks that estimate is about right. She has a full mouth of teeth and weighs a pound. When we found her she was dehydrated, she did initially eat a little dry kitten food and drink some water when we got her home. She...
