I used human nail clippers and my dog's guillotine clippers.
I like the guillotine clippers more - it seems to give a clean cut.
The human clippers definitely "crush" the nail more and although it never seemed to bother my cats, it certainly didn't look that comfortable.
It’s about liability.
Imagine if one day I decided I was going to offer to do other people’s taxes because I read something online about how to do it. I may be very well qualified, but I may also be completely wrong. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants cannot in good faith...
Ah okay, I understand....
Honestly, these folks from Craigslist were just random people from the town next door -- a little old lady and man -- they advertised the kitten as: "8 weeks old, eating wet and dry food, litter box trained. Extra toes. Dad was a Maine Coon, Mom was a Ragdoll" with...
Just ordered some Alnutrin from Hare Today!
Question - since I've already portioned out the meals into baggies (and froze them), can I just add a little to each serving -- or what's the best way to go about this?
Thanks!!! :)
I'd LOVE for him to chow down more - he seems to spread his meals out ALL DAY LONG. :D So, if this is going to pick up soon, I welcome it!!!

I've been wondering how much I can expect him to eat -- I made the portions big on purpose, because I know to let kittens eat as much as they want, but he always leaves some left over so I guess...
Thanks for the feedback. The MLV is what I'd like to opt for, but it seems it's hard to find in my area. I am more familiar with vax for dogs, as I went through this stuff 2 years ago when we adopted our puppy (and good to know about "feline parvo" -- that I can understand!)
Whether or not...
Hi there,
Thanks, this is how I feel about it, too. I prefer to edge on the side of less vaccination vs. over vaccination when possible. I personally think the vaccination schedule that most vet office use is too much. I want him to have the core vaccines and rabies (it's required where I...
Hi all,
My kitten is going in for his first shots next week, he'll be 12 weeks old. Because he's 12 weeks, they might want to give him the required rabies shot.
I want to opt for core-vaccines only (FVRCP & Rabies), since he's an indoor-only cat with no contact with other animals.
I have...
