This is animal abuse just as it should be child abuse when this occurrs. We should all fight to make consequences for this form of abuse. Why is it that beating and starving an animal is considered abuse but not obesity?! Something should be done to discourage this form of abuse. Maybe we report...
www.AAFCO.org determines the nutrient requirement breakdown for all pet food manufacturers. You have to be careful in how you interpret % of ingredients if you are reading a label. Protein and fat %'s can be deceiving because compromised nutrition sources are used in foods to meet AAFCO...
Bad breath is usually caused by one of two things. A rotten tooth or infected gums is one thing which it sounds like you ruled out. The second thing is food swallowed whole that sits in the stomach creating putrification which passes through the stomach and intestinal walls, into the blood...
You cat is lacking high quality protein and fats or the intestinal health of the kitten has been compromised. What are you feeding your kitten? Look for canned whole meat with natural protein and fat souces and NO by-products, flours, glutens.
Check your primary food source. Dry food high in grains and meals or any dry containing by-product should be eliminated. This could be causing your cats filtering systems to work overtime and will absolutely cause problems if there isn't one currently. Whole meat sources recommended.
Why no seafood? Are you concerned with Magnesium? Seafood is the highest quality protein, second only to eggs. Only product high in by-product contains magnesium.
Oh Gosh! You poor thing! Natural doesn't always mean good food does it?
Cats are true carnivores!! Their diet has never been one that can be supported by vegetation sources-this taxes their system and cause it to shut down.
Get your cat on an immediate diet of whole fish, cooked or raw...
Let me help you read the label on this Max Senior canned food:
Can you imagine a cat jumping on the back of a cow and taking a bite? Beef is a low quality protein with very little usable, absorbable protein.
Rice Bran, Rice Gluten are binders that the body will have a hard time breaking...
First of all, cats are pure carnivores. You don't see any cats in the wild digging and scratching out roots and vegetation like canines. They eat grass purely for fiber and digestive aid for hair balls and constipation. They simply need good food and the weight will drop. The problem with most...
VERY IMPORTANT that you get your cat on probiotics as soon as the medication has been taken in its entirety. A cat on antibiotics and heavy medications lose the healthy bacteria in their system which destroys their immune system and ability to fight for recovery. It's the part of medicine left...
She probably had a few ear mites not very visible. They are microscopic until they multiply and then you can see them in the creases of the ear. I would try taking a qtip and a little baby oil and applying the oil to the ear including the visible creases. This is practical and kills the mites...
It's called an Elephant's ear, it's tropical, grows naturally in the wild and is a GIANT plant (bigger than you) as it matures. Colocasia esculenta is the scientific name. I am sure it is toxic to cats since most tropical plants are.
DO NOT FEED FELINE OR CANINE Greenies. They are made with binders that remain trapped in the system and clearly the product is disrupting your kittens normal digestive function. I would take the kitten into the vet and throw the rest of that product away.
Aloha!!
