Thanks everyone for your help. I won't be euthenizing (spelling?) my cat anytime soon. If that is something I will have to do then it will probably take me a few more months to accept that decision.
I called all shelters in my state and neighboring state and they have no openings and they...
Thank you so much for all the advice and help
To give you more information and reply to your responses;
1. I can't have my cats outdoors, we have a leash law here and I live in an apartment complex which makes it clear that cats have to stay inside. The leash law is so strict in my county...
I now this is a touchy subject and I hate to do this but I trust everyone's opinion here so please read this carefully, keep an open mind and let me know what you think.
I'm thinking of finding a new home for both of my cats.
One of my cats has been having some major behavior problems that...
Max is his own cat too. He will only let you pet him and hold him on his own terms, and those times come very rarely. And in the three years we've had him he has only slept with us once. Usually he sleeps at the very edge of the foot of the bed and if you get close to him he'll leave...
I think it depends on how you pronounce the names. I am not sure if you have an accent or anything. I am from Pennsylvania and the way I would say the two words they don't sound a like so it wouldn't be a problem for me.
So just carefully pronounce them so they sound different.
Hope that helps.
My husband is getting a Robo sapien in August.
Here is the website for it;

I had the same exact problem with my cat Max. He was throwing up every night and sometimes he would do it while I was at work during the day. Sometimes there were hairballs in it but mostly looked it looked like his food. I took him to the vet 4 different times and it cost a fortune but they...
I don't know if this will work for you or not but it worked for me...
I shut the cats out of the bathroom for about a week and gave them their own roll to play with (I just left a roll on its side on the living room floor). They absolutely loved it! And once I re-opened the bathroom to them...
When someone comes to our door one of our cats will cry and the other one will bark (yes, he thinks he's a dog), but as soon as we let someone in they are gone faster then light itself.
Unless you have food in your hands or your name is Mommy or Daddy then our cats don't want anything to do...
I don't have an answer to your question but I am very glad you brought it up because I have always wondered the same thing.
My two cats are indoor only but every now and then a bug will sneak it when the door is open or they'll find house spiders. I always take away their "friends" when I...
That's actually a great idea to feed them treats on the cat tree...I never thought of that. I will also try using a teaser. If I put the laser pointer on the cat tree they will go insane to catch it, but that's not saying much because I think they would walk on hot coals just to get that laser...
The only thing that's worse then leaving your cats at a shelter for no good reason is to just abandon them by the side of the road to fend for themselves.
It makes me so mad when people do that!! I live in the country and see that a lot, people will leave boxes full of kittens by the side...
I myself am in a bind with this so I don't think I can offer you much advice.
I can't leave my cats at the vet because all they do is cry there 24/7. And in order to board your cat around here it's usually required that they have been on flea control for at least 3 months, have their rabies...
