I've been to the vet. He has a malformation in his thyroid that prevents the absorption of calcium in his bones. The X-Rays showed his bones to be brittle and hallow, with multiple fractures along the spine.
There is the possibility of putting him down, but not now, and not in my opinion, and...
An hour ago my 3 month kitten had a stupid accident. I was blow drying my hair and he got so scared with the noise that he jumped from the bed down onto floor. It's a relatively small jump (maybe 15 inches) and he's done it before many times, but now it was different.
-he must have landed...
Thanks everyone for the answers.
I visited 3 different vets because I like to get second opinions. The thing he suffers from are ear mites, but we are on the second day of the treatment and he looks much better. The rest were just check-ups and the shots.
He eats the meet raw, because that's...
Hi. So I have this tiny ball of fur of 2.5 months who is eating only meat, egg yolks and goat milk. But meat is what he eats consistently.
I visited 3 vets since having him. The first two were absolutely fine with his diet. One even praised it, on the grounds that cats are carnivores anyway...
Not until my second cat did I found out that each kitty has her own style of playing DaMouse/DaBird. Trying to figure out what makes them unleash those hunter instincts will always be incredibly fascinating. Right?
My girl is all about speed. She will chase that toy until I get more tired than...
Thank you so much for your answer! Dex was actually 6.5 - 7 weeks when the fleas solution was administered (!). Doc said it was ok, prescription said it was ok (still have the bottle)...but I have my doubts as well.
This took place a few days ago, and the redness progressed since, little by...
People, I am so sorry for your troubles... but this thread is HILARIOUS!
Ever since I have two cats, I find myself sleeping better at night. (Hurray!) But if nothing works, I have no problem locking them out of my bedroom. I can't do without my sleep.
Both kids will go into the bathroom with me when I shower. The girl will watch from a distance, but completely fascinated by the way I put myself in that horrifying situation. The boy doesn't care much what I do, and doesn't mind if he occasionally falls in. Just another day at work!
Hello, everyone! We're talking about Dexter, my 7 weeks male kitten - 8 weeks this Monday . (He is with me since he was only 4 weeks old. Not my choice to have him at such an early age... but anyway, it's water under the bridge now.)
He has been checked for worms and fleas and seems to be...
My nose. He will kiss it, lick it, nibble on it, gently paw at it, rub his cheeks against... And this happens before every nap. It's a wonder I'm not turning into a clown yet.
