    URGENT! Attacks when Startled!

No she doesn't both of my cat eat 90% wet high quality food. and the 10% dry food is high quality Orijen. I don't know what to do with her. Thinking of rehoming her but at her age/aggression it will be very difficult to do so.

    URGENT! Attacks when Startled!

She had issues with going outside the letterbox. We took her to the vet 2xs now everything bodily wise was fine except her dental. We spent $600 on dental cleaning and 2 extractions for her. My vet told me her attacks are behavior and this will not change her attacks and unfortunately he was right.

    URGENT! Attacks when Startled!

She never attacks when being pet i've had cats for many years and know not to touch their belly but she loves her belly rub and you can do anything to her and she will not attack. If she had enough attention she will just walk away. We are talking about a cat that would make sure she retracts...

    URGENT! Attacks when Startled!

No not at all. My situation is almost exactly like the main post. She is calm and very gentle normally but anything that startles her she transforms into this crazy cat that will SEEK me out to attack me. Then back to normal licking me like it never happened. I've also had her since November and...

    URGENT! Attacks when Startled!

Hi I know this is an old post but I am going thru the EXACT same thing. The attacks are scary and unexpected making me dislike my cat more and more with each attack. I just want to know how this ended for you. Did you end up keeping her? Did she grow out of this attack phase? The current cat i...

Newly Rehomed Cat Pees Outside The Litterbox When In Distress. She Has An Anxious Personality.

Yes she is not only eating a whole can she even eats the little one's food as well. I am going to give it another month before looking for a new home for her. I read somewhere that some cats know exactly where they want to live and maybe my home isn't a fit for her and she knows it but I just...

Newly Rehomed Cat Pees Outside The Litterbox When In Distress. She Has An Anxious Personality.

Thanks for the advice maggiedemi. I am already feeding both of my cats wet food. The process of converting my girl to wet food was an uphill battle in itself. She is quite overweight and I been trying to get her on wet food hoping it will do her some good. I also took her to the vet the first...

Do Cat's Parents Affect Their Personality

Totally agree with weebeasties. I would also like to add that my love of 20 yrs Mr Gray (in the picture) who passed away this past summer, was never a lap cat for the first 15 yrs of his life. He became a lapcat as he moved into the gentriac phase as many senior cat do. Senior cats need more...

Newly Rehomed Cat Pees Outside The Litterbox When In Distress. She Has An Anxious Personality.

Hi All, I am new to this site and have recently joined because I am desperate to find a solution to my cat's litterbox disasters. I really don't want to rehome her or put her in solitary confinement but I am running out of options here. I been a cat owner for 20 years and my Mr Gray passed...
