yes i have 2 boys. one was separated from his wild mother when he was just a few weeks old and i found him. his brother managed on his own for five months until i could tame him enough to touch him and bring him into my home. both have become real home boys. if fact i cant get tom to stay...

good idea with the screen door and towels. you can also put Moe in a cat carrier. that way you can move him around the house and every one will feel safe.

paper bags are great fun, especially if they are open. the boys like to hide inside and ambush the unsuspecting passer by.

all my boys act like dogs. when i first got them i expected them to do what i sad, come when i call, go where i tell them and stop in mid air when i yell no! which is exactly what they do. i had no experience with cats so i treated them like dogs and they responded.

dry food is hard on the kidneys especially if your cat doesn't drink a lot of water. wet food is better. glad your switching before health problems develop. for better nutrition you might also try several brands of cat food and rotate them. helps prevent allergies and each brand may offer...

the stores where i shop always plays music. i sing along with the songs i know. some people look at me and smile others run the other way, but at least i'm having fun.it' amazing how may songs you remember the words to even if you haven't heard it in years.

I too like so many others here inherited my boys. I didn't plan on owning a cat but they just kept showing up on my fathers door step and when he died I felt responsible for them, so they came home with me.  

the boys and I thought this would be a fun place to hang out. i'm sure I will learn a lot of cool stuff about cats. it will help me provide a happier home for the boys.
