    I keep it on if we're not around. If someone can watch him, we take it off, but it usually takes 10 min before he tries to clean his backside. I'm afraid to let him do that, lest he pulls his stitches out. He hasn't pooped yet, though, that's my concern now.

    Yes, that worked this morning. We syringed 50 ml of water into his mouth, by 5ml at the time- it was grueling, but he peed!!!! This is after 48 hours; we were getting ready to take him back to the vet. Freddy is still not eating, though, and has not pooped in days. I gave him his meds this AM...

    Our 5 years old male cat had PU surgery last Wednesday, 5 days ago, and he's still not peeing or eating. He was back at the vet clinic twice, they sedate him and he pees, but he hasn't been peeing at home at all. It's been 36 hours since the last time he peed and he's just lethargic and purring...
