I have used a few brands of the corn stuff and found it tracks less = but I find it gets stinky sooner. Like the corn absorbs some of the amonia/urine smell- so I change it quicker than regular litter.
I'll buy it if it's on a good sale or I have a coupon.
lol... the mental image is cracking me up.
My tortie Kara once knocked over a lasagna pan (half full/wasn't hot) and her whole head was covered in sauce- she loved it.
Yeah, you sound like you love her a lot....
You probably should get rid of her since you are so against litter boxes.
Having a cat = Having a litterbox
If you are going to have a pet you have to deal with cleaning up their crap!
I have a plastic dog sized one and one of the soft ones. I prefer the plastic one because my cat always scratches at the soft one and I'm scared she'll rip it.
Luke will run right in the carrier as soon as it touches the floor. Kara will run under my bed the moment she sees it...lol
I...
My Luke is 1 and we say he sometimes is "in a mood"..lol
He'll stand in a doorway and wait for me to walk by and jump out and grab me and then run away...lol
I guess I'm lucky because my cats really have no interest in our tree-- they are young- just 1 and 2 yrs old and very playful. They just like to sleep on the soft tree skirt.
They are SO cute!
I think it varies by cat-- mine are both DSH but one never ever sheds and the other I'll see lots of hair from-- both eat the same food.
Dry food has never been proven to be better for teeth. I think wet is better. Mine eat 100% wet and their litter box doesn't smell any different than when they used to eat dry.
This might be a really dumb question but I have two cats that get along great. My husband and I rent a condo and are in the process of buying a house- should move in January if everything goes well. So.... since my square footage is going up by about 50% I'm thinking of getting a 3rd kitty in...
If it makes you feel better I think it's SUPER rare for someone to have 2 incidents of FIP. Back when my kitten died I asked on here and no one had their other cat come down with it later. It's like lightening striking twice in the same spot.
My vets said in all of 2008 they had 2 cats die...
I have to do this, too! One time I had a big loaf of french bread on the counter not even thinking a cat could be interested.
I came home to the bag open and a big hole in the middle of the bread!
Another time she took a donut out of a box and licked all the powdered sugar off it.
So my...
If I were you I would slowly wean them off the dry and just do two wet feedings per day. That's what I do and it works great.
It's gone within about 10 minutes of me putting it on their plate-- I like it much better than leaving out dry all day long.
Mine eat wet only - usually Wellness chicken or turkey unless I'm broke and they eat stuff from the grocery store for a day or two each month
My cats will eat ANY wet- pate, chunks, any flavor- they like it.
