Thanks, Mrs GJ! You’re right, she’s probably not quite feral, but is definitely a stray and not spayed. She’s part of a clowder that hangs out in my sister’s neighborhood. This one is friendly enough to accept pets, I guess. This girl and her brother were kittens when K (my sister) started...
My sister has a been feeding a few ferals, and she’s worried that this female, 6 months old or less, might be pregnant or nursing. Can anyone tell by the nipples?
Also, does anyone have any idea what that might be on this poor kitty’s stomach? My sister says it appears to just be mud and debris...
Hi Salemsmommy,
Tell us about the dog. How has your dog acted towards Salem? Has Salem been around dogs before? If not, she may be dealing with fear of a strange animal as well as a new home and new people. She'll come around in time either way. Sounds like you've already made a lot of progress...
Ok, if I count correctly, he's your eighth pet, right? How about Henry the Eighth? (I have 8 cats, and my youngest is Henry, though his name was given to him by the shelter so is just a funny coincidence. :-)
I like Wally a lot. He kind of looks like a Wally to me.
Delilah says, "Sigh. I am SO tired of these weekly weigh-ins". (I use a bowl and kitchen scale for weighing foster kittens, and kept it up with Delilah and her litter mates even after they got bigger.)
Okay, okay...I wasn't actually able to get a picture of him blushing, but here's one I'd been saving for a special occasion:
George says, "Pay no attention to this black cat. This thread is for blue cats only!"
