    Selling a Condo with Cats

Thanks for the input. I have hardwood floors and the litter just scatters. I have mats but I've not been able to really contain it since the kitties love to leap out of the boxes. It's more the "crunch" factor. I will probably start with the "by appointment only" method for showings but...

    Selling a Condo with Cats

I am about to put my condo on the market. How hard it is to sell when you have cats? I don't want to limit when real estate agents can show the place but I have fears of kitties getting out, potential buyers being allergic, etc. Keeping the place totally clean is also a concern. I don't...

How can I remember the laps I've done?

I do my drills in sets of 100m. That way I only have to remember to count to four (25m pool). I also sometimes just do drills by the time instead of counting the laps since I know basically how long my 100m takes. I'm also only doing freestyle...

    Not exactly computer fraud

It's not just out of the trash that people try to steal info. I am the e-Commerce Manager at a company that sells sporting goods online as well as having stores and a mail order department. There are overseas shady people out there who try to use stolen cards regularly. These thieves tend to...

    Migraines

About five years ago, I paid $175 for Imitrex for the 9 pill pack. That was with health insurance. AND it didn't even work for me. I also find that only going to bed helps. I've heard of the calcium thing. There was also an article a while back about magnesium deficiency causing migraines.

Look at my new plant! It's a purple passion! Unique!

I've had mine for years. It creeps like crazy so you have to cut it back regularly. The little orange flowers are stinky but pretty.

Anyone else feel Sad on Mothers Day?

I feel a little selfishly sad on Mother's Day because I don't have kids yet and I want to have a family. I am in my 30's and not married. Big holidays make me think about all that I haven't accomplished yet. I do make a big brunch for my mom in celebration.

Have you ever met someone who drives you nuts?

We have a girl in our office that says "yeah" a lot when she's on the phone with a customer. Like 20 times in a row. It's like that scene in "Office Space" when the receptionist says "Thank you for calling .... Just a moment" over and over and Ron Livingston is ready to tear his hair out. I...

    Let It Shine

I saw it last night (but not at an IMAX). They sure put on a great show. I'm in my thirties and so I never really understood why folks were so crazy for them. The old footage was great. Mick was a total hottie back in the day.

    Naughty name

The naughty cat name in my house (doesn't matter which of the three) is "furbucket".

    Cute but annoying

Sandy will be sleeping on my pillow and start purring and pawing my head. Then she gets herself over-stimulated and the claws and teeth come out. Boomie sits right in front of my face (I'm a side sleeper) and sniffs my nose then he paws at my face. Bubba (at 20 lbs) walks over me and paws at...

    Im turning 30 soon!

I was much more freaked out about turning 29 since it meant I was "almost 30". When 30 finally arrived, I seriously felt relieved that all the hype was finished.

    Pedicures

I had one once... and then I discovered that I can't stand anyone messing with my nails -- mani or pedi. I don't mind the soaking, massaging or polishing but when it comes to the filing or buffing, it's the worst torture ever.

What does everyone do for a living?

I run the e-commerce website for a company that sells everything related to figure skating, produce the 32 page color catalog each year (I create the concept, do all of the layout/design, lots of photography), I'm the skating dress buyer, offer skate fitting assistance, IT, etc. We're a small...
