She normally free roams the house though. She's only been in there since probably the day I took her to the vet and got the X-rays. As soon as the kittens get a little bigger well let them all out. Probably in a couple of weeks or so.
We have its litter food and even a nesting box inside a large dog cage, my grandpas house, he didn't want her running all over the house with kittens hanging halfway out lol
sorry I couldn't really get a better picture. But mother and kittens are happy and healthy it seems, to my knowledge she still hasn't eaten. But she did eat all of the placentas. All kittens are nursing.
I have a regular bathroom scale, I'm not sure that that would work, but they all seem to be moving around pretty well, nursing, and breathing, so they seem healthy.
No it is the placenta from kitten 2 it's actually still connected. Pretty sure momma is done, there hasn't been any more contractions or rapid breathing. So kitten count is 4 healthy babies, 3 black and one orange tabby, and 1 stillborn. Which was still a fetus, not too far behind the other...
Yea they're all trying to figure it out. I think there may be one more stillborn though. Looked like a placenta at first but it's been in there since kitten #2
