The other night we were at our locale Petsmartcothing (lol) getting food for Despoil when we saw the SPCA workers bring in a kitten who looked rather scared. My husband went over to look at him since we were thinking on getting another and decided then and there to adopt. So now we have Zanzibar...
Mine does the same thing but he also hides under the bed even if someones home. I leave a shirt that smells like me and I make sure he has a ton of toys. We might be getting him a little friend after he's fixed but we might not as we're not sure how he'll interact with others.
He's doing fine, like it never happened at all. He's curled up with me and he still does the tricks my hubby taught him when it comes treat time.
Yeah, no brush cleaner in the house
He did, he took it like a soldier. I'm very proud of him, he got extra treats for that.
I hope so.
Mind you it doesn't start out cute.
I was working with N&W Brush cleaner last night when Despoil came up, startled me and got some on his fur. First thing I did was wipe it off and the second was to put him in the bath tub and wash him so there wouldn't be any chemical left on his...
It's funny because in our lease it states no pets but when I asked my landlord if I could have a cat since the previous owner did I talked him down from 'has to be de-clawed' to 'we'll use claw caps and you can keep our damage deposit if there's something wrong'. Really he was a massive push...
lol Don't sweat it, I'm lactose intolerant (I really tried to tolerate it but I failed lol) so that's why I know.
And forgot to mention how cuuute that is.
Today, not even ten minutes ago really.
I set up one of my dolls to take sales pictures of and left the room, he jumped on her and she toppled over. Neither were hurt, there were no scuffs on the doll and he seems fine but scared of her. I almost told him that if anything happened to her he...
I don't mean to hijack this thread but isn't the reasons kitten's have a kitten formulated food is so they can digest it better? I remember when we took in a kitten and had an older cat, the kitten would eat adult food and get ill so we took her to the vet and they told us to put her on kitten...

Probably for the same reason people won't adopt deaf children or children with handicaps? It's not fair or right, but some people see it as a flaw they could not live with.
Thank you ^_^
I think over the next week I'll be taking more pictures so I hope they turn out better then these and I'm able to get ones of him resting and his face which is hard sometimes. Hopefully I can get some good ones for a signature.
But yes, he know's that in reality I'm his minion.
