Thanks for your reply, Morrie appears to be fine today. I got him to take some water through the night and that seemed to cool him down some. I hope this doesn't happen a year from now when he has them again. Of course he will be full grown by then but imagine I should mention this last episode...

I have a spayed 10 year old cat, declawed (sorry, I wasn't informed of the cruelty 10 years ago!) and a six month old neutered kitten with all his claws. The old one hates the new one, hisses and spits an swats with no claws. Do you think they will ever get along with each other and be friends...
