I am about to try Blue Walnut Pellet cat litter out of desperation - has anyone tried this?

Oh brilliant! Thank you so much!  I'm going to give it a shot and will feed back but it's really reassuring to hear from someone using it. Cheers! (Yeah, I heard less favorable reviews about the clumping/powder form.)

    Little Sam and Tapeworms

I used the Petmeds Tapeworm tablets with my male that I rescued from a parking lot. It is Praziquantel I believe.   It cleared up the worms, he seemed a little ill the night i gave it to him, I made sure he was getting plenty of water. He has been fecal tested now and is free of worms. (My...

Help a fireman and his puss pick a good UTI friendly food

Hi bonepicker, I'm not going to hijack the thread, but I'm writing all of these down to check out for my kitty -I'm leaning towards no fish whatsoever . I worry about my male cat's  urinary health too.The good health of your cats says a lot.  Thanks.

Advise on Integrating stray into an already a two cat family of 5 years

Shoot, I meant cleaning around the house with vinegar water - not the kitties! LIke any hard surfaces where they spend a lot of time - feeding areas, etc. To tone down overall scents in general and make it all more neutral.

And may also gently groom each a little to try and relax them? I'm sure they wash themselves but so they...

I am about to try Blue Walnut Pellet cat litter out of desperation - has anyone tried this?

I have been using Dr Elseys clay litter. As far as clay litter (in the USA) I think it's the best. Nothing added at all and they say  they filter it as much as possible for dust. But I am getting worried about my male rescue kitty licking this clay residue ( you can't stop it) daily. I've...

Help a fireman and his puss pick a good UTI friendly food

Oh, sorry - more thoughts.. Do you really wash out the water container daily when you put the fresh water in? I noticed with mine that the bowls can start having a cat food odor within a day - I guess just from the small amouts of food from when the cats drink - and they don't want the water...

Help a fireman and his puss pick a good UTI friendly food

Hi, I had two bengal females that had a lot of UTI's. I have been used Newman's Organic Turkey & Veg flavor on and off with quite good results. I believe this particular flavor (Not Turkey, or obviously Turkey & Salmon) is fish free. This food does have the carageenan? which there is some...
