Thank you sarthur2! your idea seemed to work the best. I let them have access to the bathroom and our bedroom. They still woke up at 5:30am and play for a little bit but then snuggled on me and slept with me. I have not had a kitten in almost 20 years so I forget about their behaviors. 

I just want to thank everyone for the advice! They slept much better last night and I did not crate them. :) We will see how the rest of the week goes. I know they are still young and will calm down a bit with time.
