Wanted to add that I kept up the ACV 3 times a day now and not 1 cry or groan. He has a urinalysis this week just to see how crystal formation is going, pretty sure he will be clear now. Anyone else tried ACV for this?

Update: The magic of ACV!!! So he was making several trips in and out the box and crying while doing it each time, up until I started giving him apple cider vinegar mixed with water. I took his medicine dropper and gave him 2-3 tubes full 2 days ago and since then he hasn't cried at all in the...

UPDATE: So its been a month since surgery and he is doing pretty well except one thing. He still likes to pee on clothes if they are on the floor, and he has been groaning in the litter box. I checked and he IS passing urine, no blood. But he does seem to be straining. Doc gave me more prazosin...

He did use the box regular before the whole urinary ordeal. It is 330am now and I found him struggling to pee, as he was before I went to bed.
