No, never did the one that showed up as he got older....his breathing was too compromised due to laryngeal paralysis to stand anesthetics. He died at 6 from pneumonia from aspirating food or water.
I had one that was like that.....thought both were down at 10 months, so did the vet and we found only one very tiny testicle and palpation gave no hint of another. The second one descended when he was three. He never sired any kittens, but did love being around them....almost like he never grew up.
Day trips for me too.....spent too much time on the road over the years and now I don't much like travelling any distance. Might go on a trip on a local short line railway and have the lunch as well but that will be about it.
