So I've been looking into feeding my two 1yr old cats a bit more raw, but due to time and money constraints we've put that on hold. However, we do feed our cats a rotation diet of half a can of wet food twice a day and I was wondering if it would be okay to replace 1 meal a week with a raw...
While it isn't a good idea to feed long term, I have found that no cat can resist Solid Golds Blended Tuna. We ended up rescuing a feral cat last year and she was heavily addicted to dry food. The first time I cracked open a can of the Blended Tuna she decided she was a wet food convert and it...
So I went to the vet recently to update Loki's shots and get my new feral fur monster, Sigyn, her shots. We did a complete work up and everything was fine, Sigyn was even lucky enough to have avoided getting worms (you'd think an 8 month old feral would have something but she was perfectly...
I feed and manage a modestly large feral (roughly 30 cats, 17 consistently show up) colony and recently took one is as a pet and companion for my other fur monster. Would I qualify for this badge?
Yeah I have no pet stores in the area that carry it yet, I just order it online. Let me know if you want any of the links where I found it :) . I've found that I actually don't mind having it delivered to me, saves me from having to put on pants or socialize with people hehehehe
Yeah I think if I was using this as my cats main source of food it would be prohibitively expensive to buy, but since I use it only a supplementary feeding between meals it actually lasts for almost two months. 30$ for two months is pretty fair in my book but I got really lucky hahaha.
The woman who told you not to give much food with fish/tuna isn't exactly wrong, but there seems to be a lot of argument about it. What it comes down to is that many fish seem to have a high level of mercury in them that can build up in a cats system and cause them trouble down the road...
As far as picky goes my kitten just has rich taste mostly, he's pretty chill about eating all of these upper(ish) brands of wet food but only the waggers "dry" food.
Nutro Max (kitten)
-Chicken & Oceanfish
-Chicken & Liver
Blue buffalo Wilderness(kitten)
-Chicken
-Salmon
Blue buffalo healthy...
Yeah, the price isn't what I'd like it to be but it is small enough price to pay for healthy food that finicky cats will eat. Don't feel too bad, I get made fun of for how I feed my cats too, but my last cat lived almost 21 years so I must have been doing something right hahaha. The new kitten I...
Here is a link to their site listing their food. Unfortunately they are made of hate and don't sell it there, if you would like a link to the cheapest place I found it (still not cheap AT ALL!) just let me know :)

So I actually went ahead and ordered it. I was briefly excited that they did in fact give me a treasure map when I opened the bag, but it just turned out to be feeding transition instructions hahaha. Today is the first day I tried it out on my kitten, and so far it is a hit. He ran up and...
Please don't take this as rude, but I'm going to have to disagree with one of your points here. I'm not exactly super knowledgeable about pecan shells, mulch, or plywood filler but I can point out that pecan shells were at least cleared by the aafco and the fda (back in 09 I believe) to be safe...
It's a semi-moist food, which seems pretty rare these days. My kitten will eat semi-moist treats and wet food but not dry food, so I thought this might be a good step for busy days.
