    vomiting... vomiting... vomiting...

Thanks for all of the advice. For as much as Oliver vomits - he is overweight so I think he is getting MOST of the food down. I've had him to the vet several times and no one can tell me what his deal is. I think I'll try the California Natural ..... or look for something without grain. I'd...

    vomiting... vomiting... vomiting...

Thanks for this "Cliff notes for question 1 whole food ... try elevating the dish or using a flat dish ... kitty MAY be eating to fast .. if this does not resolve it look at the food feeding as it may be a allergy" BUT..... what next?? OK so I've had it! I give up. Oliver has been vomiting for...

    HELP! Kitten Temperament/behavior (somali)

I believe that the kitten will adjust. When I took Stella home, she was a barn kitten that I literally had to trap and lock in a box for the trip. She is now as friendly as can be (Well, for a calico)

    My Water Baby - Stella

Thanks all. Yes, Stella is about 8months old. I sure do hope she grows out of this. I'm tired of refilling the dishes... 5x day. I will have to try some heavyduty dishes. Do the pet fountains work?

    My Water Baby - Stella

Ok she's making me nuts. I had to resort to keeping her and Oliver's water dishes in the bathtub because she would play in it and make a mess on the kitchen floor. Her new thing is that she will push the dishes along with her head until they go up the side of the tub and dump over. Please help...

    A new buddy?

I think it's a great idea for you to get a kitten!! Oliver was 3 when I got Stella (who was only 6 weeks). I kept them separate for about a week and just let them be together when I could supervise. I realized that Oliver would not hurt her at all..... He was very gentle. And those little...

    rock licking???

How do you know if they are strays

Well I'm probably going to start something here but here is my 2 cents - I have a friend who recently took in a mother dog and her 2 puppies and rehomed them herself. She knew who they belonged to but these poor dogs were outside ALL the time, hungry and cold and begging to be let into her...

    gagging on food

I actually have the same problem with Oliver. What seems to work for me (so far) is to NOT free-feed. I feed my two cats twice a day in 4 shallow dishes spread throughout the house. I don't know why this works but I've been doing it for a month and he's only thrown up once since.

I went too quickly - starting over....

Yes I agree that starting over is the best thing. The smells of the vet are definately strange to your other cats.. It took awhile for Oliver to readjust to Stella after her spay!

    Would getting another cat help?

Do you not have free kittens there? They are EVERYWHERE here in the U.S. And I wouldn't hesitate to get one again. I took Stella (who was a barn kitten) and turned her into a indoor only cat. She is perfectly healthy and loves her new home. More importantly, Oliver is much happier!

My little binger - advice needed please

Thanks.. I have already changed his food once, do you really recommend changing it again? Does anyone have any recommendations for food? I read also that elevating his food dishes might help?

My little binger - advice needed please

OK, Oliver is about 4 and he has a problem with bingeing. He doesn't chew his food, swallows it whole and then guess what. He pukes it right back up. I'm guessing he swallows air or something. I'm not sure if I should've posted this here but it's not a health problem. He's been checked out...

    Stella was spayed yesterday

Thanks for the note. She does have everything, food water litterbox and a comfy bed. I had to put her water dish in the bathtub because for some reason she thought that splashing around was a good idea. But it's still there for her to drink. I guess she must be feeling good!

    Kittens spayed/nuetered, WAAY too active?

I have to say that Stella is the same way. She just got spayed yesterday and she is bouncing off the walls. I had to lock her up in the bathroom so she doesn't tear her stitches. She's 6mo old.
