    Please help

Shadow is a 17 year old dhc. He has always been very healthy, until now... The last couple of weeks I've noticed a very slight "bob" in his head. He's been a lot chattier and way more cuddly then usual. Today he was talking even more then usual but seemed fine. He's eating, drinking and going to...

So very sorry for your loss..... I wish I had the strength to write such a tribute for my boy, but every time I try, well I just can't get the words out. Thank you so much for sharing your's and Tolly's story. RIP Tolly

    Coping with guilt.

When Painter was about six months old she fell in the tub while my daughter was having a bath. She was so curious, she just had to walk around the edge of the tub. She ended up really sick, she went almost a month where she barely ate. We had to force feed her with a syringe, not an easy task...

    My Cat Linus

I recently had to have my boy Heathcliff put down (he was 17). It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. It looks like Linus had a most wonderful and happy life. So sorry for your loss, RIP Linus

    RIP my precious boy

Thank you so much everyone. I knew it would be hard when the day came, but it's so much harder then I expected. I keep expecting him to come around the corner, or come curl up with me at night......

    RIP my precious boy

On dec. 28th, I had to have my precious boy Heathcliff put down. He had been going downhill for a couple of months, he was 17 years old, and I thought it was just age. The last month or so I noticed that he was drinking and peeing a lot more, so I finally brought him to the vet. I had a feeling...

First time seeing a Christmas tree

Awwwww, so cute! My babies love the tree too. Heathcliff can always be found under it, Painter can always be found sleeping in the branches and Spike is obsessed with the lights.... Shadow, well he really couldn't care less, he's more interested in what's in his stocking!

Declaw vs retrain a 14-year old cat

My boys used to be outdoor cats, they have now been completely indoors for about 8 years. I offered lots of stuff to scratch, which I sprayed with catnip spray to attract them, and sprayed scratch deterrent on the furniture. I've never had a problem with them destroying anything. The only...

    Hi from Saskatchewan, Canada!

Thanks, Painter is absolutely obsessed with Spike! She follows him everywhere, so we have to keep a really close eye on him, lol.

    Polysporin???

Thanks for the info sugarcatmom. I had a better look at Heathcliff's eye and it's not the eyeball that's red. Turns out their is a small cut in the corner of his eye and it's the skin around it that's red. I started using the Polysporin and it looks much better already, he even keeps it all the...
