Well, Pinball's going to the vet today. We'll see how it goes. I've noticed that she seems to be flipping back and forth between the cat I know, and feral 'jungle kitty' mode. We approached her last night, and she let both of us pet her, and even purred a little... then not ten minutes later...

That is a possibility. I know she started acting different when R was pregnant last year, but as far as I know, there have been no major changes in R's health.
