I have no choice but to use 3oz cans with Aquaria :( Some things you can try are microwaving the food after it's been in the fridge, leaving it there for a couple of hours (if it's wet food), and also not buying 6oz cans like I did.
^ When cats arent spayed they will go absolutely bananas, males can become more territorially aggressive & females will have mood changes on and off heat. This should solve the problem.
Thanks to all of your advice!! I've avoided fish entirely and Miss Picky seems to be ok with it... for now. Hopefully she won't get sick of this again! (And if she does i'll bring out the bonito flakes)
1. 20 years of commitment. If you really want a cat start saving now. Yearly vet checks & kidney/bladder issues that senior cats tend to have can amount up to THOUSANDS.
2. I don't want to be an arse but "breed specific" behavior doesn't really ring true for all cats. Some ragdolls can be the...
Thanks, I just tried giving her Fancy Feast Creamy Delights chicken and she finished almost the whole thing... but was clearly tolerating it Lol. I don't know how much fish is in there but it's not the first or second ingredient, so hopefully not too much. I don't know if she'll get sick of it...
I used to feed Aquaria Fancy feast liver and chicken. But I was told to try a variety of flavors... So i ended up getting "ocean whitefish" and tuna. Now that is all she eats. I'm worried about mercury levels in tuna. Is there a way I can wean her off fish? Like put tuna juice on her chicken...
My vet also said the same thing about not needing to do frequent bloodwork, I'm also thinking of switching or at least having a second opinion as it's a low-cost clinic which caters mostly to strays, so their priority is usually not towards bloodwork and stuff but more like spay/neuter and...
!!! This. One period of time I gave just 1 3oz can and the rest was dry. The next few days she started smelling like pee and even peed very far from the litterbox. It smelled so bad (she was an early spay so it wasn't anything about that). It was very scary, the vet told me that female cats...
Yes this. My cat doesn't really bury all her poo. The litterbox is clean 23 out of 24 hours of the day.
Of course it doesn't work if you live in a multiple cat household... I would recommend littermaid in that case.
Like what others have said, grain free, no potatoes, less fish, meat as the first 3 ingredients. And carrageenan free. For dry, I feed Fussie cat market chicken and turkey which isn't her favorite but I think grain free is important for healthy stools.
Hi I think what's most important is sticking to a routine, what you feed comes secondary!! Cats love routine as it gives them security and predictability in times of stress e.g. if you are moving house, your cat will know that you are still feeding it at the exact same times every day. It gives...
