Hi, Well you were right Hissy, I tried a collar on Lulu last night and yes she thought it was a toy! She rolled around on the ground trying to bite it off. So I will wait until they are 6 months old and try again - perhaps without a bell. I hope she will take to it then? Thanks Sharron

Thanks again to everyone. I took your advice and last night I sat with them both and the shy kitten (Pheobe) came to me and I picked her up for a cuddle!!!!!!! And she loved it! Well what a relief!! I think she will be the cat who likes affection but only in small doses. Sharron
