    Momma cat is still hissing and trying to attack the kitten and the problem still persist. Tried rubbing them with their bedding and vanilla extract too. Any other suggestions will be much appreciated.

    I tried to put a drop of vanilla extract on each cat. Even then they the momma cat is hissing when she comes into contact with the kitten!

    How do I use this vanilla extract? I just brought my kitten back home after spaying her. All of a sudden mother cat and the kitten started to hiss at each other. They were together before and not sure how to handle this!
