my vet recommends Wellness (her practice sells, it...) but we use Pet Guard, which he also says is really good. They have a variety of flavors (Sandy likes chicken with wheat germ).
sometimes Sandy gets grumpy if we come home too late. The othe rnight I came home late from reharsal to find a roll of paper towels rolled out like the red carpet and shredded all over the kitchen floor, with Sandy fast asleep in the middle of it all.
Sandy is not at al picky about her food. When we got her from the shelter, they'd been feeding her Iams. Our vet recommended that we only feed her meat as good as we would eat and told us to switch. We're vegetarians so we wouldn't eat ANY meat (heehee) but we switched to PetGuard, which is...
when we first got sandy from the shelter, they'd been feeding her Iams but the vet told us to give her a better quality food with less by-products. It seems like there's a lot of crap in there!
ditto sandy usually begins between 5 and 6:30 and we have just gotten used to waking up, opening the blinds for her to look out at the birds and having her jump right in the bed.
sandy often races all over the place, probably about once a day. we have a small apartment, so we just figure she's trying to get her exercise by galloping from one end of the place to the other.
Sandy has recently taken to hanging out in the bathroom sink. I also came home to find (thankfully the end of) a roll of toilet paper on top the litter box
sandy loves bananas (my boyfriend has dropped a piece on the floor a couple times and she races for them every time) and she like to bat around grapefruit peel.
Hi all!
My kitty, Sandy, has been with us for almost a month now. Recently she's begun acting kinda strange around dinnertime, scratching around her bowl as thought she's in the litterbox! I don't quite know what to make of this. Have any of you experienced this before?
