those are some pretty big cats i need to take pics of when my cat does that kind of stuff

when i moved into my two bedroom apartment, i had no idea it would soon become my cat's apartment. apparently, now i have to pay rent directly to him, and i have to sleep on the couch now.

i crushed some up, and i let XI (my cat) smell it. he seemed to be interested, but didn't eat it. i also rubbed some on his scratching post/house, so he will use it more. i also put a little in his bowl.

i just bought my cat 3/4 oz. of catnip, and i realized i don't know how much to give him. how much should i give him? what kind of effects will it have on the cat? what happens if i smoke it? j/k about that last one. thanks for your responses in advance.

i was not aware that there were so many reasons to neuter cats. i guess i will do so, although i feel bad about changing the natural life cycle of a cat...but i guess such is the burden of domestication. now all i have to do is figure out where to get it done. is there any kind of time...

i don't want to get him fixed, because that'd be taking away something that's his (his ability to procreate) and i don't feel it's my place to do that. i would certainly be upset if that were done to me. and i read that it is possible to train a male cat not to spray. i have not heard that...

thank you all for your contributions. i have been doing what you all recommended: i pet him often, and i give him little cat massages, pet his head (when he wants to be petted there), his chin, and his feet--he really likes that place. here's a picture of him: here
