I'm here to ask for recommendations for a shampoo for my cats. They're just over a year old and I know nothing about cat shampoos. There are so specific reason other than to just keep them clean once a month. They are indoor cats that only go out to the garage, an upstairs balcony and a gated...
I just wanted to say thanks for recommending Dr. Elsey's. I've switched from WBCL this past Saturday and I have yet to see one darn dusty paw print on the dark wood floors. It's exact;y what I've been looking for!
Thanks again!
OK, I have the litter box in the garage. I'm using WBCL and I go in there once per day and empty the box of the nasties so odor is not an issue. Whatever is tracked stays in the garage so that's not an issue either. What is an issue is that I have dark cherry hard wood floors and I get very...
I buy Wellness from Petco and have discovered that no matter how hungry the two are, they will only, and I do mean ONLY eat the chicken and turkey flavors. They absolutley turn their noses up at any of the other flavors Wellness has.
I'm looking to install a cat door so my fur-balls can access the garage from the inside of the house. That is where I plan to put their litter box. I have been searching online and have quite a few to choose from. I figured that asking here might yield some more information and possible...
I don't know if anyone might be interested in this, but I think I have come up with a way to lessen the corn/barnyard smell of the WBCL. For the past week I have been trying out a 2:1 mixture of regular strength WBCL and Fresh Step Lavender scent. I purchased two large (not the largest) bags...
Exactly my thoughts. There is a definite "air" of confusion with the corn and poo/pee mix. An interesting mixture of odors that definitely confuse the senses a bit! I wish there was a litter that had the same strengths as WBCL (clump strength, less tracking, odor control) but with a better scent.
I've recently switched to WBCL from Nature's Miracle. I was sold on NM for the first two months the kittens were home, but I realized that the odor control left something to be desired. I also wasn't thrilled with the strength of the clumps. I easily made the switch to WBCL and I'm very happy...
I'm looking into spaying/neutering for my kittens and would like to look into the low cost options in my area. I don't know of anyone that has taken this route and would like to ask how safe, in general, are these services and how I can go about finding out if there has ever been an issue with...
I want to thank everyone for their input. Unfortunately this is one of those things where I cannot compromise. The kittens have full reign of every part of the house. The kitchen counters are just not negotiable. I can say with certainty that they are not climbing up to the cabinets to get...
Can someone please suggest ways to train two 4 month old kittens from jumping on the kitchen counters? I have some of the sticky tape thats sold in Petsmart on the countertops but it doesn't seem to stop them? I'm really trying to do what I can to keep them off and would appreciate any...
Now, I'm no cat expert by any stretch of the imagination, but is it "strange" behavior for a female kitten (4 mos) to be suckling at her brother? I just witnessed her do this for the past 40 minutes. When I lifted her up away from him, his chest/belly area was thoroughly soaked! The kittens...
