I was at a friends house tonite ...and they said they would take her in
if they will surrender her. I just have to let them know
that someone else would do the right thing by this cat! I will have my
hubby call and leave yet another message--they can surrender her
to a loving, good family...
quick update...my husband called the guy again...late afternoon/early eve.
The guy didn't answer his cell....but my hubby left a message that we
saw her out again...multiple days and that it was way too cold and dangerous
for her to be out...that we were "worried about her health" and if...
Thanks for your replys! I am going to have my husband go over and talk to him
and let him know he's violating MN statutes by not providing for her and offer to
take her to the vet or a shelter. Hopefully that will help...thanks to all for your advice and replys
in s.o.s also.
oh ok....I like that idea about my hubby asking him about taking her to a shelter or the vet and if he says no...telling him about
the denying of proper shelter and care laws. I did look up the MN statutes and I printed them out and highlighted the ones that
they are violating... my husband...
I would take her to the vet --but how? What I mean is...do I just grab her and go? I can't get her to
come to my house right now...I live across the street from them and I have been calling her by name
to come to me and she just looks at me and kinda meows/chirps at me and just huddles up. ...
can someone tell me at what outside temperature is
a cat in danger of hypothermia??? I need some factual
information to give to someone who is leaving their cat
outside in cold and snow. I can't seem to find an answer
on google. I know cats can get frosbite and hypothermia
and I found...
This is a very long story...but to start with I need to know if anyone knows
at what temperature( outside air) does hypothermia set in on a cat??? I googled it
and I can't seem to find an answer....I have alot of info. on the topic...but not an
answer to that question...just "freezing" but...
I was just over checking on these guys for final time tonite...everyone seems ok. No diarrhea in box I also found a comb...not a "flea" comb but a close tooth one. I checked them all and then used a paper towel -damp-on the stuff I combed out and did not see any dirt/blood streaks. I also...
oh wow! Thanks.. i think? lol. I am not excited about bringing fleas home to Rosie. OK...so here is what I have seen so far: No one (not even boy kitty) is scratching or itching a lot--just your normal quick itch on the ear/leg whatever. I usually spend one hour in the a.m. and 1/2hr when I...
Thanks so much. I will try not to worry. I have not had to deal with this type of thing before. How many stools would be considered "frequent"? (so far--there hasn't been more than 2 in 24hrs that are runny) I like the idea about the water bowls...they have 3 now ..I will add a couple more...
Nes,
Thanks! I will ask her about the worming thing.
I did ask her before she left who her vet was ...and she couldn't remember the name--not a good sign. She told me she only had to "use them" once last year? I know who it is because I know the area she described but the vet probably isn't...
I am watching 3 kittys for 10 days. I am 4 days into it now. I just met these cats 4 days ago. 2 girls, 1 boy. all around 6-8 yrs old. Boy cat goes outside at night, comes home in the am to eat/sleep. I am watching these cats in their own home. I have a 9 yrs kitty--Rosie--who does not go...
