    Mad at the vet. :(

I am sorry your vet let you down. You are doing what you believe(and myself)what's best for our cat. I am not into politics or anything but if a name like Science Diet tells you they are the best and can "prove" it......some people would believe it too. I would love to raw feed my cats but is...

    New Ragdoll kitten, need advise

I just want to say thank you for taking such a good care of your ragdoll. I have two of my own so I am guilty as charge to say they are awesome. I have learned the HARD WAY most people here just want to help you. Intentions are good.....keep that in mind when replies don't seem so.

New wet foods & Welness CORE ?

Both my cats are thriving on CORE. I do mix CORE and TOTW dry and they love it. Never had a tummy problem. Phoebe is my underweight adoptee and I leave dry out all day so she can eat as often as she wants. Wet twice a day, and they only eat the sliced ones with gravy so my options are somewhat...

    Wellness Core - kibble question

I am now mixing Taste of the Wild and Core. Core is way "stinkier"....the first time I opened the bag I was overwhelmed by the smell of all the protein. My cats love it and I can get a 5lbs TOTW for the price of the 2.2lb Core at a local pet store....a BIG difference

    Wellness Core - kibble question

Same here. They are about 4mm wide, quite small. Buy the small bag (2.2lbs I think) just in case. Good luck

    Ragdolls -- Care & Grooming

I second all that. Halo is still a baby(4 month old) and sheds little. Phoebe has longer hair(even for a Ragdoll) and sheds a little more. I use the furminator once a week(sometimes twice) and it works wonders. Easy grooming for such furballs. I will notice their hair if I am wearing something...

    Meow mix cup(market selects)

Phoebe loves MeowMix, so it is part of her diet. She will only eat wet with gravy, so MeowMix Market Selects, Wholesome Goodness(also by MeowMix), and Nutro Pouches are a constant. She likes Wellness pouches too, but at a dollar a piece it gets quite expensive. I compensate by giving the TOTW...

    My Cat Won't Eat

You mentioned you have tried different brands, and I feel your pain. My "rescued" Phoebe only ate dry food until she joined our family. She will ONLY eat wet food with gravy.....no pate style (I've tried them all). I usually by the pouches(Wellness and Nutro) or MeowMix and Wholesome Goodness. I...

We had to part with our snakes....

The insurance "might" drop you if they find out (depending on insurance company, where you live, etc). Sometimes you can just exclude any damages or claims related to the exotic pets you own. My point is yes, you can have exotic animals for years and nothing bad happens. But if something does...

    PUREBRED cat fever...

I second on Cat Shows....we have Ragdolls, but husband fell in love with Maine Coons at our last show. Are you looking for a pet or you planning on showing? The reason I asked is because sometimes you can find a very nice retired queen or king up for adoption. I have a soft spot for retired breeders
