    Eye discharge

Hi sbd45, I have a simular problem with my kitty. I would get your vet take a look at your kitty's eyes. They are couple of reasons why your kitty's eyes is discharging,it could be from infection to cloged tear ducts. Your vet will provide you with a better diagnosis. Best of luck!

    Declawing or Soft Claws ?

Yes please don't declaw your kitty. It's a very cruel thing to do. There are a lot of sites in regards how to clip your cat's claw. Just search under clipping cat's claw. I've heard great things about soft claws. But please don't declaw your kitty.

Have you thought of double sided tape? I got another suggestion actually hubby thought of it. He said to try getting plastic tubing from home depot or lowes. I believe they are called spirel tubing or vinyl tubing? Cut the tube along side so the wire or cords can be fitted over it. They do come...

    Sneezing kitty

And def do NOT feed anything over the counter to the kitty. The medications that are over the counter are a danger to a cat. If the owner of the kitty has a concern he/she should contact the Vet for further information and assistance. best of luck again!

My kitty will sneeze every now and then. Usually he's trying to tell me it's time to vaccuum! Also I give my boys a bath and the sneezing does stop. When I mean bath I mean wiping them down with a baby wipe specially designed for pets, you can find them at your local petstore. If the sneeze...

    chewing up stuff

Hi ermorris, I've always found double sided tape to work well with the blinds. Kitties hate the sticky feeling in there paws. You can purchase those at the pet store. As for cables my husband read somewhere you can put soap on the cables. Rub the cables and cords with a bar of soap, just a...

They don't chew on a box EVERYDAY, in most cases they'll get a box about 2 times a year! Besides I brush there teeth. I'm sure some of us feel we're doing and giving the BEST for our kitties. Some of us don't have the apportunity or the $$ to purchase the free range chickens eggs or necks. In a...

How many here brush their cat's teeth?

LOL sorry AngelzOO I can understand tho about the nails on the blackboard, just thinking about it makes me cringe. The boys just go crazy when I put a box in the middle of the living room they just totally attack it, specially my maine coon.

How many here brush their cat's teeth?

This is a bit unconventional...When I can get my hands on one, I just give my boys a cardboard box (even a shoe box will do), and they chew the corners and edges of the box. I don't let them swallow the pieces, however, the teeth do come out nice an clean! Most of the time I just brush the teeth.
