    NE OHIO NEED Help ASAP!!!

I have run into a bit of a cat problem! We have been planning on taking in Allie, an 8 year old femal black and white domestic shorthair cat. Well, we were supposed to move into our house a long time ago and it's still not closing. I'm not sure we're going to be able to take her now with this...

    Changing Litter?

Premuim Choice can be bought at Pet Supplies Plus and Petco. It's usually flushable, though they have a regular scoopable litter, which is what she's on now. mybabyphx, your info was very helpful. Thank you. I haven't decided what I am going to do, most likely just drive out every once in a...

Iams Multicat vs. Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul ADULT Formula (soft stool)

I know with Canidae, I use it for my dogs because of the high fiber content. It firms up my dogs stool and also doesn't cost me a fortune. I am guessing Felidae would be similar. I don't know about prices, yet, as I haven't even looked into prices on cat foods yet. Just a thought though.

Cat Nutritional Requirements. What to feed?

I understand you aren't advocating it, I'm just adding to the info I already gave by including that I can't feed RAW. As for the bacteria, I mean on the dogs and cats. I know that if you take necessary precautions in cleaning everything, then it won't make your house bacteria ridden. It's the...

    Changing Litter?

I know with my moms 115 yr old cat, Buddy, anytime my mom changes litter, he will not use it and goes in the house. But, we always attributed that to this particular cat being very territorial and demanding. Allie is on Premium Choice, which is apparantly a reasonably priced scoopable cat...

    Changing a Cat's Name

LOL, not for some cats. But this one just doesn't seem like an Allie. Allie sounds more like a girly, playful name and she can be playful, but is more of a tomboy, apparantly. I don't know, I guess I just want to change it either way. This poor girl has switched homes due to one reason or...

    Changing a Cat's Name

I have always tried to keep an animals name when they are rehomed with me, but on occassion, I've changed it. The cat I am adopting is now named Allie. I was thinking keeping it similar but changing it a little. I'm not a fan of the name Allie for this cat for some reason. Maybe Callie...

Cat Nutritional Requirements. What to feed?

A RAW diet is not an option in my house. I have fed RAW to fosters before and won't do it again. My husband and I plan on having children in the near future and don't want the bacteria in the house. I would feed Evo, if it would be a good choice for Allie though.

Cat Nutritional Requirements. What to feed?

When it comes to dog or rat food, I could go on and on and on. I've had, rescued and fostered more dogs and rats then I can count and have studied their diets in depth. Cat, however, I only know the basics. What do I look for in a "good" cat food. Obviously I want corn, by-product, wheat...

No, the collie is all collie. The coloring is called Blue Merle and is common in collies. They also come in Sable(like Lassie), tricolor, white and sable merle. She's a purebred girl, lol.

Hello. My husband and I are in the process of adopting an 8yr old black and white cat named Allie. We also have two dogs, Dakota a German Shepherd, and Faith a Rough Collie. We just moved cross country, so I am staying with my parents and their two dogs and one cat while we are waiting for...
