    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

I will try to keep a level head and plenty of patience with her. Your Zena sounds like a really cool cat! I was just wondering with regard to cleaning, I guess I can start running the vacuum cleaner since the Diva and her kittens are in the other room (which also needs cleaning fairly soon)...

    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

I hope the kittens are doing well also but I haven't been able to see them. Sometimes though, I hear some very faint meows and I know it's coming from them because my dogs look at me and tilt their heads (as if to say, is there a cat in here that I didn't know about) LOL!!!!!!!! I am so happy...

    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

Update: I gave her some KMR but she did not touch it. Thankfully, my order of Weruva, non-pate, arrived today and she seems to LOVE it! She has also somewhat warmed up to me as evidenced by my almost white oven-mitts!!!! She came to me I guess she wanted to be rubbed or petted so I did but I was...

    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

this is probably going to be an ongoing post but I wanted to know, what would be best wet cat food to give mama Siamese so the kittens can get the best nutrition? I have given her Royal canin, Wellness Pate BUT she will not eat any of them!!! I guess she hates the pate version because she eats...

    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

Thank you for your advice. the only reason I said to move them to the shed is due to the fact that it is the only "safe" place away from the dogs and it will be only for a few hours while the new windows are being installed in that room. After the work is done, they will be moved back in there...

    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

So, if y'all don't mind, I'd like to ask another question. When the time comes, in say 8 weeks, how exactly do I move them out back to the shed? The reason I ask this is that I have new window installers coming within the next 2 months or so and they will need access to that room. Plus the...

    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

Wow, thanks! You just gave me a great idea. I guess I too can leave an empty drawer open and add blankets in there just to see if she will move in there. An under-the-bed hiding spot isn't so good in my head, it's been years since I cleaned under there. Thanks again for your post.

thanks for your advice, I will see how it goes with the blankets. I just want to know, why do you think the mom won't use her old box anymore?

    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

Just an update: She has moved her kittens to under the bed that I have in the spare room. So I cleaned her bedding from the feral winter box where she had her kittens. So now, I just wait and see what happens.

    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

Good morning, yes that's what I do with her food bowls. I put the new one down and try to remove/replace the empty bowls but she tries to fight me with that too! Transferring the kittens is definitely out of the question, I wish I was super fast but I am not. I will try again for at least a...

    Semi-stray Siamese gave birth

Just an update: I tried to give her her dinner tonight and good thing I was wearing the oven mitt because she tried to bite my fingers off! I don't know what to do anymore, it seems to be a hopeless case. I would be too afraid to go in there to clean her litter box for fear that she might dart...
