A friend of mine who;s a vet tech brought me some dewormer the other night and we gave him some. A little loose stool today but I haven't seen any worms.
He's been eating and drinking normally now. No vomiting.
He's still being clingy, even slept under the covers with me last night, which...
After a hellish month of worrying and searching and phone calls, my youngest cat, Legolas, was finally found yesterday. As far as I can tell, he's been fending for himself on the streets for the past month.
He's lost weight and seems utterly exhausted, but otherwise unharmed. Luckily, he had...
Well, it's finally happened. After catching mostly feral cats, a few squirrels, one raccoon, and one very confused possum... I have finally accidentally caught a skunk.
Now what.
I can't just walk over and open the cage for him like I do for the squirrels and raccoons. I called the city...
He poo-ed on Friday and it was that toothpaste consistancy, but it was dark brown. On Sunday, he pooed and it was the mustard color, tooth-paste consistency, and stank to high heaven.
He hasn't gone since.
Poor little Pip. I'll add a little oil to his formula (yes, KMR).

First off, I haven't posted in a little less than a year. Last summer, we had found a stray cat who was pregnant. I am pleased to say that she and all six of her kittens were adopted out to wonderful homes since then.
Now I have a new problem. A 10-day old kitten was dumper at our animal...
Whew... after a hectic second half of the year, I am now back!
I am happy to report that Marigold and all six of her kittens have found happy forever homes! Firefly and Serenity even got adopted out together! I got holiday cards from several people and e-mail with pictures from others. They...
Our oldest cat, Frodo, escaped last week and when he came home, he borught some tiny unwelcome guests, namely fleas.
Now all twelve of the cats in the house have fleas! Even our seven-week old kittens! Luckily, Marigold and her babies are sequestered away from the others and I have only...
IMHO opinion, six weeks is far too young. Between six and eight weeks there is still vital socialization going on where they learn from their mum and siblings how to bahve appropriately. Sometimes a few late-bloomer might not be weaned totally yet or know what the litter box is for.
I have a...
No, we can't keep any of them. As you can see from my signature, we already have more than enough kitties. (Our landlord has expressed concern over how many cats we have.) So Marigold and all of her kittens will be up for adoption when the babies are ten weeks old. They all have appointments...
Hello all!
The kittens are now four weeks old and turning into right curious little critters! They're now very capable of "escaping" their nest and are giving me and mum a run for our money trying to keep tabs on all of them! Everyone can walk more or less now, though their attempts to run...
Hello!
The babies are all three weeks old now and are actually beginning to look like kittens! Boy do they grow fast! They are all walking, or at least toddling, around and have graduated from the nesitng box to a big old dog crate that they can tumble around in without falling out.
Much to...
I first posted this over in the Pregnancy section since Marigold had kittens near three weeks ago, moving it here for more responses.
OK, to start it has been hellishly hot here lately. However, there is an air conditioner going in my room and while it's not as cold as I'd like it's cool enough...
OK, to start it has been hellishly hot here today. However, there is an air conditioner going in my room and while it's not as cold as I'd like it's cool enough in here for me to be comfortable.
Marigold, who gave birth about two weeks ago, has been panting all day... like almost as bad as she...
What a week! Everyone's growing like weeds! Every
kitten has more than doubled their birth weight, even
little Serenity! And they all now have their eyes
open at least partway.
I've provided new pictures of each kitten with
their names on the pics.
Macavity is the little...
