I finally found the information on Fancy Feast I was looking for.  "The only Fancy Feast products that do contain carrageenan is our Chunky, Flaked, and Roasted varieties. The ingredient is listed as carrageen on the ingredient lists of these products."  So their pate versions are safe to feed. ...

According to their answer to me, yes Fancy Feast does in their pate versions.  "Carrageenan is used as an ingredient in some of our Fancy Feast wet foods. It's used mostly in loaf forms as a gelling agent and gives the loaf product body and texture."  It is NOT listed on their labels, though.
