Hey guys! Normal that she's licking all over me? My face? Hands? I think she's treating me like her kitten.

Hi guys!!! Gracie is great. Very clingy. But I think that is just how my sweet babe is. :)

She did send us home with a tablet for tomorrow. Gracie is now resting with me. I am noticing her purring is quite fast. I believe she's still nervous. But in bed and calming down.

Gracie is doing well and the babies were beautiful. I asked the vet to save them for me. I wanted to see them. Here they are. Xo

Makes me wonder if at mated with a strange cat. I'm so angry that she was ever treated as an outside cat in the first place! I don't know if any of you caught this part but while they were in her they did fix her. She will never have to go through this again.

Also... This vet said that she had only had to perform one section and it was 10 years ago. Apparently this is rare.

The vet tech called last night and I asked her how far along she thought the kittens were. She did not think she was ready to have them. She said they did not have much fur on them but could tell one of them was striped. I hope and I pray that she does not feel sadness. It's just really tugging...

Yes. She is doing wonderful. I am so worried about her... First the move... Then lost babies... Then surgery. I hate that she is staying at the vet all night.....

Thank you all. So much. I can't wait to get her back tomorrow just cannot wait. I have never been through a loss like this. Never lost a baby. I can only imagine the immense sadness one feels.

Also... Since Gracie had miscarried the kittens her body would not provide strong enough oxytocin to allow her to expell the babies. I did ask the vet during be ultrasound if she were to have stillborns if should would mourn them and she said that yes indeed they can and some even treat a...

You're not the first to say they think she knew this was going to happen..... After the ultrasound and not finding any heartbeats they assumed the kittens were not viable. C section was the best hope. Hope for the kittens and hope for Gracie. Sadly, Gracie did have two kittens, they did not...

Thank you all! I cannot believe how hard I've fell in love with her in just one week... Just heartbreaking...

Oh absolutely... Just waiting for the call that she's come out of her anesthesia. I'm very very disappointed in how everything has turned out. Now I am just wondering what the reasoning behind this is.

If she doesn't make it through the surgery or something crazy happens I will be sure to post on social media.
