The brown tabbies I knew were brown..just gray on the mind...I would have called the blue/silver tabby a gray tabby...the vet told me he was a silver tabby???
So the official list:
Silver Tabby =Tinsel
Black/White= Bow
Gray/White= Angel
2 Dark Tabbies= Noel and Cookie...
all belong to little Christmas AKA Chrissy...no idea on sex...will check as they get bigger.
So today started out normal. Chrissy was not in labor when I left the house this morning at 8. She was still fat and happy. She has a nice little nest set up in a cozy warm bathroom. We got home about 315 and Adam asked if he could let her out. I told him yes...he opened the door and I saw...
For the ear mites...you can treat her ears with baby oil and clean them out real good...it suffocates the mites and will help until she can handle something stronger if she needs it.
She could have mastitus....which would make her not want to nurse or have the kittens kneading her...we have seen several of our fosters react that way and they were fine with kittens once the infection was treated.
I think maybe 4...my Mom cat earlier this season was a little larger than her pre-pregnancy...and I didn't think she would have more than 3 but she had 5 :-)
This litter box is one she only has access to when I am home...the one in her room is so teeny she can hardly do her business in it...
Chrissy is very small...this afternoon for the first time I saw baby movement...YAY
Updated Photos
Not at all...post away...Chrissy has been hanging out in a litterbox the last 2 nights when we are home...she is in her nesting area in the day when we are gone...hope that means she is gearing up for birth...I haven't seen movement yet but she won't let me touch her belly still.
Have they tried terramyacin eye ointment...I had a kitten with the exact same looking eye...almost like the membranes in her eye were swollen...the normal antibiotic creams were making it worse because of the steroids in them...it would be worth a try if you haven't tried it.

So this is my third Momma this season...but the first one who has actually made it to me still pregnant...YAY...now here is the thing...my first Mom was very tiny, only about 6 lbs and was about 8 months old with a litter of 5...she got sick when they were 4 weeks old and passed away...second...
I am trying not to handle them to much since Mom is still new to the house and me, only enough to weigh them, and clean their bedding....so I have taken quick peaks but don't have a good idea on the sex..
One of them will at least be solid black, the rest will be tabby striped.
They are all dark.
The mom is a gray tabby, don't know about the Dad...she is a foster cat pulled from a shelter.
Don't know sex yet, too tiny to tell...if I had to guess I would say the majority are boys...but we'll see in a couple weeks.
