I noticed today that my indoor only kitty's ear on the outer edge seems a bit red. No wounds or scratches and the inside is clear. I've attached two pics, the first is her normal ear and the second is her red ear. Would you recommend observation and then if it worsens vet visit? Anyone know...

Thanks for your help. She did manage a bit of kibble this evening. The paper the vet gave me said the manufacturer is B&I but it didn't give me the name of the vaccine itself

Your husband definitely needs antibiotics though. Cat and kitten bites contain a high amount of bacteria and they will likely become infected. I'd speak to a doctor but it's unlikely that your husband would contract rabies from a kitten that young. Not sure you need to go to the ER but...
