    Your cats names..who and why?

Little Bits was a present to me from a friend who named or "O'Reilly" originally, after the shop she worked at, which is where the kitten was found. I then played around with "Dread Pirate Blackwhisker" because it's funny. Even the cat looked at me like "WTH? Don't you like me?" So after a...

Are there other men cat lovers out there??

Guilty. I dunno what I'd do if I didn't have this black furball of doom. My first pet was a dog though, but that was a family pet. MY first pet of choice was a cat, and always will be.

    If cats could speak..

Littlebits (hereafter known as "LB") would say something like this: LB: Daddy, here's my butt. See my butt? That's my butt. Butt butt butt. ::flop:: LB: wake up daddy, ::repeated tailsmacks:: (Daddy rolls over to escape the evil LB Butt) LB: Daddy!! =>.<= Wakes up! ::paw smack:: I want...

Inside Cat mewing at the door incessantly.

I had no idea you could "walk" a cat...I might give that a try, just so she can see what's up. I'm afraid though that this might exascerbate the behaviour however, it's never been my experience with a cat that once they have a "taste" that they let it go forever, more often than not they want...

Inside Cat mewing at the door incessantly.

Ok, this is a new one for me, I have a fixed female housecat who I have kept inside for the better part of 2.5 years. She bolts outside to the landing of the staircase outside my door when I get pizza and stuff but she has never been past the first flight of stairs. Recently, she has taken to...

    Why does she chew plastic??

How dangerous is it to let them continue this behaviour? My cat will chew on any plastic bag I bring in the house and will do it for a fairly long time. She has not ingested any of it as of yet, but I know she shouldn't. What harm can chewing on plastic do to her?
