Trapped young stray. What to do next?

:) I cannot bath him, I cannot touch him basically, which is why i cannot use frontline or revolution or advantage or such. I am actually training him not to be scared of us. Even though it might be possible to grab him by force to give him meds, I believe this would simply scare him and waste...

Trapped young stray. What to do next?

I noticed today that Fireball has tapeworms, I was wondering if anyone can suggest a product and a strategy to give it to him. Since I cannot grab him and force him swallow it like I would for my friendly cats, and I am afraid that mixing it with food  won't work either since he might very well...

Still coping with diarrhea after 10 days

Thank you for the link, yes it already came up as I was interested in it but I am glad you reminded me about it. I ordered that and will receive it soon. How much will I give to him? it says 180 tabs, do I give him one per day? Half? I suppose I will crumble it and sprinkle his food?

Still coping with diarrhea after 10 days

One of the weruva wet food has pumpkin in it. That is what he gets. I think that he has always been a lazy cat and sleeping most of the day, but before he was neutered he would have other urges other than food, he would starve himself to stay out all night and walk every house in the block and...

Still coping with diarrhea after 10 days

Hi and thank you for offering your help in figuring out how to help Bibi. He is not losing weight, nor appetite. He really gained weight in the last months, he was neutered in early October and have obviously gained weight since. He had more appetite and became more lethargic, such as he sleeps...

Still coping with diarrhea after 10 days

That's odd because I usually know how tapeworms look like and this is not like it. I can give him a tapeworm tab, I think I tried to give him some a month ago but failed at having him swallow it all. He actually was tested for worms last month when I had him at the vet and they said he was...

Still coping with diarrhea after 10 days

Hi, and thank you for caring about Bibi, He is doing ok in the sense that his butt looks normal and bright pink and he doesn't seem much annoyed or licking it at all anymore. And he is overall looking fine other than certainly more lethargic than usual, but I attribute that to him having being...

Trapped young stray. What to do next?

Thank you. Fireball is really such a sweet cat which simply had a bad experience in the past. He really shows me that he wants to become friend, yet he gets still scared. He is doing good progress and we are happy we helped him. He started to allows us to be much closer to him, yesterday I sat...

Still coping with diarrhea after 10 days

So far there hasn't been a lot dramatic changes but slow progress on this. He is doing ok, his stool has somewhat become more firm. His butt is back on pink and not so red and he doesn't lick it as often. He gets a bowl of baby food mixed with pedyalite (and sometimes fortiflora) every morning...

Trapped young stray. What to do next?

Being back inside is helping him to re-connect once more and again with my other cats, especially with the little Sissi (now 8 months&spayed) that was a kitten back in April. They became somewhat friends. We got to keep her so she and Fireball play together almost every night. When he was in the...

Still coping with diarrhea after 10 days

He does not have any underlying condition that justifies my concerns. He is about 2.5 years old and seems in overall good health. He has gained quite some weight in the last few months, probably due to being neutered but maybe this sickness has also made him eat more, which is odd.
